What markup language is NetView?
NetView is written in XHTML, the latest XML version of HTML. The specifications for XHTML are found on this page. The presentation aspects of NetView are driven by an external cascading style sheet. The specifications for CSS are found on this page. Finally, in a few instances, a little JavaScript was utilized.
Do I need a firewall to run NetView?
If your corporate network is connected to the Internet, chances are you already have a firewall and are NetView ready. A firewall is needed to protect your network and will only allow someone into your network if you have given them permission. Further, the firewall can provide access only to specific parts of the network that you see fit. You can purchase firewall software or hardware at a reasonable cost from numerous dealers.
Will NetView work with any web browser?
NetView has been thoroughly tested with both Internet Explorer 5+ and Firefox and works effectively in both.
Can I customize the look of NetView?
NetView was designed so that customization is easy. The use of CSS for aesthetics means NetView can reflect your company colours with little effort. Furthermore, the adherence to W3C standards for XHTML and CSS ensures NetView is flexible and highly customizable. Contact us for further details.

NetView integrates with our e-Z Ware solution, taking full advantage of everything our robust e-Z Ware package provides. Those who are running software that pre-dates e-Z Ware will continue to be offered our e-Z View package. Contact us for information on upgrading to e-Z Ware.
