Maves WMS Earns GSC Logistics Award from Target Corporation
Target Corporation, operators of 1,502 Target stores in 47 states, has recognized Jeff Tanner from GSC Logistics for excellence in the realm of Information Systems and Systems Integration. GSC Logistics employs Maves software for the management, handling, distribution and transportation of material in their supply chain and works closely with Maves to devise software that addresses their business requirements.
Target Corporation required a highly complex EDI-based cross-docking application that incorporated container pick ups, unloads, cross-docking and shipment functionality. This system not only had to be extremely accurate but it needed to be successfully implemented in less than thirty days. With Maves' help, this deadline was met and GSC Logistics received an unprecedented 100% barcode scanning accuracy assessment from Target's EDI Specialist and Distribution Specialist.
