Maves Appoints New President

Maves International Software is pleased to announce that Aaron Laird has been appointed President. Walter Maves will continue to be Chairman & CEO of the company, concentrating his efforts on the strategic direction of Maves in the multi-client third party logistics software industry.

Walter Maves, who founded the company in 1973, said "Aaron's vast experience in the constantly evolving warehouse and transportation management solution arena will benefit him as he leads a strong and committed staff at Maves into a promising future".

Aaron Laird, born in Tucson, Arizona, completed an MSc in Physics and Math in 1978 after time at both the University of Texas and the University of Manitoba. He started his career in the supply chain industry as a warehouseman and truck driver for MacCosham's Distribution Centers where he eventually became an Assistant Branch Manager. Aaron has held various managerial positions with TNT Distribution Centers, PPL Marketing and Nippon Express. In 1990, Aaron joined the team at Maves International Software and moved through the organization acting as Manager of Development, Manager of Business Development, and finally the Vice President of the Sales and Marketing Unit.
